When does registration open?

April 1st through May 1st

When does the season start?

You will play 4 regular season games + playoffs. Starting June 21st and finishing July 26th. No games July 5th. 

Where are the games?

Games are in Carlsbad. 

Where and what time will practice be?

Before the game. Practice will be minimal. 

What equipment do I need?

Cleats, mouth guard, black shorts with no pockets or stripes down the side. 

How can I volunteer to coach?

Send an email to christina4fnl@gmail.com and cc nccfnl@gmail.com with the subject “Summer League Head coach.” Indicate what grade your player is in when you volunteer. Also include your cell phone, zip code, your player’s grade and what school your player attends. You can also request to be a Head Coach during the online registration. 

How many players per team?

9 players minimum on each team. Coaches can have as many as 10 or 11 players, if they feel like players will be missing due to travel/other commitments. 

Can my child play on multiple teams?

No. Each player is allowed to only play on one team. Since every season there is a waitlist, we want to allow for as many kids as possible to play.

Can I request a friend? 

We try our best to honor requests, however, this is not a guarantee that this request can be granted. Groups of 3 or more friends will not be placed on the same team unless a parent is willing to be the head coach. 

How much does it cost?

$210

Can I get a refund?

Refunds of $175 are available until June 9th, after this point no refunds will be given.

Is the uniform provided?

Jerseys are included. 

Does FNL have extra jerseys on hand?

Unfortunately we do not have extra jerseys on hand. They will need to be ordered separately. Jerseys take 10-14 days for ordering, processing and delivery.

Are there playoffs? 
Yes, all divisions have playoffs.

When will I hear from my coach?

Coaches will get their rosters June 9th and coaches will begin contacting players soon thereafter. If you haven’t heard from your coach by June 16th please email christina4fnl@gmail.com

Who receives medals/trophies?

Regular Season

Kinder and 1/2 grade receive participation Medals

First Place conference winners receive  trophies.

2nd place conference winners receive silver medals.

 

Playoffs

1st place winners receive rings.

Runners-up receive  medals.

 

Can my child play if he gets injured and is wearing a cast?

No. 

Are dogs allowed on the fields at the games?

For the safety of others, DOGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
