When does registration open?

Oct 1st 

When does the season start?

The season will run from January 9  - February 13. You will have 4 games over 3 weeks or 4 games over 4 weeks, followed by playoffs. Playoffs should end Feb 13th unless we have unforeseen weather issues or field availability. 

Where are the games?

Games are in Carlsbad. Poinsettia Park (6600 Hidden Valley Rd) is where Winter FNL will be played, for the most part. 

Where and what time will practice be?

Before the game. Practice will be minimal. 

What equipment do I need?

Cleats, mouth guard, BLACK SHORTS with no pockets. 

How can I volunteer to coach?

Please fill out the Coach's volunteer form linked above. 

If I coach more than one team will FNL arrange my  game schedules  to avoid conflicts in time and location?

ONLY if you are the HEAD COACH of multiple teams. FNL cannot adjust schedules to accommodate coaches who serve as a head coach for one team and an assistant coach for other teams.

How many players per team?

Each team will have nine or ten players with free substitutions. No need to wait until the end of each quarter to sub in. 

Can my child play on multiple teams?

No. Each player is allowed to only play on one team. Since every season there is a waitlist, we want to allow for as many kids as possible to play.

Can I request a friend? 

We try our best to honor requests, however, this is not a guarantee that this request can be granted. Groups of 3 or more friends will not be placed on the same team unless a parent is willing to be the head coach. 

How much does it cost?

$225

Can I get a refund?

Refunds of $145 are available until Dec 15th, after this point no refunds will be given.

Is there a discount for siblings?

We do not offer sibling discounts.

Is the uniform provided?

Jerseys and flags are included in the registration price. Black shorts are not and must be purchased on their own.

Does FNL have extra jerseys on hand?

Unfortunately we do not have extra jerseys on hand. They will need to be ordered separately. Ordering jerseys takes 10-14 days for ordering, processing and delivery.

Are there playoffs? 

Yes, all divisions (except kinder) will have playoffs usually lasting two weeks-sudden elimination.

When will I hear from my coach?

Coaches will get their rosters Mid December and coaches will begin contacting players soon thereafter. If you haven't heard from your coach by Dec. 20th please reach out to nccfnl.logistics@gmail.com

How do I sign up?

You can always find the registration links on the homepage.

Who receives medals/trophies?

1st and 2nd place PLAYOFF winners receive medals/rings. No regular season trophies.

Can my child still play if he/she gets injured and has to wear a cast?

For the safety of all kids, NO.

Are dogs allowed at the fields at the games?

For the safety of others, DOGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
